First Utter

I've had this utter account for awhile so I guess I should post something. Money and finances have been on my mind since the new year began. Income tax time is comming up and RRSP season is upon us. I just finished reading the book "All your worth" by Elizabeth Warren & Amelia Warren Tyagi and came to the conclusion that our "Needs" are taking too much of our income. We reviewed our insurance with our insurance guy last night and got rid of some whole life policies that are costing us hefty monthly premiums. We will replace them with term life and use the money that was built up in the whole life policies to buy RRSPs. We also returned our leased GMS Sierra and replaced it with a used Buick Rendevous. While I miss having the 4-wheel driver at least this payment is much less than the lease payment was and the vehicle will be ours someday. I probably should have gotten the Toyota Corolla though. Gas is so expensive!
